The Material Innovation Initiative (MII) is a nonprofit think tank that helped ignite and continues to foster the industry ecosystem of next-generation biomaterials (textiles).
I contributed to communications and content strategy as the communications assistant, supporting the development and promotion of detailed reports aimed at investors, policymakers and industry stakeholders.

What I Learnt

To move investors and prospects from awareness to action faster it’s vital to shorten time-to-understanding for complex, technical topics by pairing plain-English narratives with simple visuals.

Strategic content repurposing and distribution is critical to maximising the value of research and meeting the organisational mission and attracting more donors.
